Candidates Endorsed!!

Last weekend the Republican precinct captains (including some ladies in our club) in Wheeling Township voted to support the following candidates in the upcoming  primary.  As you see from the percentages of votes, there's a great deal of unity which contributes to the success of the organization. We've gotten to know most of these fine individuals and encourage you join us in helping these Republicans:

Governor: Kirk Dillard (83%)
U.S. Senate: Jim Oberweis (71%)
State Treasurer: Bob Grogan (82.5%)
Congress (8^th Dist.): Larry Kaifesh (88.2% of the captains in the district)
Congress (9^th Dist.): David Earl Williams III (100% of the captains in the district)
Judge (Subcircuit 13): Gary Seyring (71% of the captains in the district)
Judge (Subcircuit 12): James Paul Pieczonka (voice vote by acclamation after announcement that his opponent intends to withdraw)

We also endorsed, by voice vote, the candidates not being opposed in the primary for various offices.

We're Back!

We're ready for a new season.  With the other side making a complete mess of things, there's a NEW opportunity to show that Republican principles will get our country moving in the right direction.    Limited government, individual freedom and responsibility for our own well-being, free market economy, a strong National defense and Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are principles that have blessed the United States of America.  What do we have now?  A bloated government with huge deficits, fewer jobs, declining freedoms, crumbling values, a weakened military and more crushing policies to come.  Let's turn things around in 2014 by electing Republicans that honor tried-and-true principles.  With your help we can do it!

Club Update, Picnic and More

Greetings and Happy Summer! We hope you are beating the heat with some 'cool' activities. Republican women have been busy all year long--once petitions were filed, we were involved in helping candidates win their primaries. Following the primary in April we geared up for the annual membership luncheon with guest Congressman Joe Walsh - what a dynamo! Our members have been to CPAC in Rosemont, the state Republican convention in Tinley Park, are participating in the summer precinct canvass and continue to "man" the ROWT Headquarters over the summer. The state party has installed a Victory Center which is up and running in ROWT HQ in Wheeling Township. We need you to be part of the phone banking crew-- don't miss an opportunity to make a huge difference in the upcoming election. It is critical that we make Mr. Obama a one-term President! Phone bank hours 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday thru Saturday. Call or just stop in!

Don't forget our summer picnic this Saturday, July 21, 12 noon at the home of our club President Penny Pullen, 2004 E. Sherwood in Arlington Heights. We look forward to 'catching up' with you. Also, find out what new items the Republican women have for sale! See you soon.
